Eczema
Hey KISS product family,
I wanted to share a bit of my personal story with you. I used to struggle with eczema, battling its seasonal flare-ups for years. I spent thousands on creams and pills in search of relief. According to MayoClinic.org, "eczema or atopic dermatitis is a condition that makes your skin red and itchy. It's common in children but can occur at any age. It’s long-lasting (chronic) and tends to flare periodically."
But since I started using KISS, my eczema flare-ups have drastically reduced. It soothes the itching and redness, leaving my skin feeling smooth and looking healthy. I haven’t had a breakout in ages, especially after I stopped using soaps and perfumes on my skin. Even my 2-year-old granddaughter had eczema, and KISS has given her relief, keeping her skin soft and eczema-free. I truly believe it can do the same for you and your family.
Here are a few tips to get the most out of KISS for eczema:
Tips:
-
Apply KISS right after your shower, and again 8-12 hours later. Ideally, use it twice a day—though once a day might work for you too.
-
Use bath oils and avoid soap, or use very mild soap on the eczema areas.
-
Shower in warm (not hot) water, and always pat your skin dry—never rub it.
-
Wear light, airy clothing when you can. Avoid tight, rough, or scratchy clothes, especially in hot weather to prevent excessive sweating.
-
Identify and steer clear of your eczema triggers (for me, it’s soap, perfume, and wheat/gluten).
-
Stay positive—stress can make flare-ups worse.
Causes:
According to MayoClinic.com, "Healthy skin helps retain moisture and protects you from bacteria, irritants, and allergens. Eczema is related to a gene variation that affects the skin's ability to provide this protection. This allows your skin to be affected by environmental factors, irritants, and allergens. In some children, food allergies may play a role in causing eczema."
KiKi’s Incredibly Smooth Shea has been a lifesaver for both me and my family. If you're struggling with eczema, I highly recommend giving it a try. Your skin will thank you!
